Well I am 16 so I do not expect many people to take the time to even look at this but oh well. I have been thinking a lot lately about random things and one such thing that has caught my interests is dreams what are they, what do they stand for, why there blank dreams, and why some people don't just dream. Also another very odd thing that has caught my interest is reality. People say life is what you make but no matter how much you change your view the same thing always happens even if you look at it as a good thing if someone dies they dies you cannot change that by perceiving it very different such as if you did not want the person to die for example. But that isn't really what intrigues me or catches me but yet are the planes of realities that come into play while you dream. See I have never had dreams that I can remember or dreams at all but yet I have a very strange feeling that when you dream you have a chance of tapping into a different reality saying that human beings are the only advanced race is kinda idiotic and close minded so say that you dream about being a bird some of the stuff you experience sticks with you when you are awake such as some feelings or even the feeling of flight so since no one can really describe dreams or subconsciousness very easily or accurately give you a for sure definition of what they are and do or even why we have them I think that is it actually possible for our dreams to give us a picture of another body we have even if it isn't the one you are used to using since bodies can easily vary. So I am wondering what other peoples opinions on dreams and the concept of reality is and are.
Not sure how to answer any of that stuff above, nor can I explain my own perception on things. However, I do recommend making your posts a little easier to read. In other words, don't be afraid to you commas, fullstops and paragraph breaks - Will make your writing just a tad easier to read.
Hi mentaimute, Here's what i think: 1. Dreams: Everybody has dreams, some can remember them some can't. According to my belief sometimes dreams provide you with an incite to ones future, but most of the time they repeat what we did/thought about during the day and occasionally they are our unconscious minds attempt to realize what we fantasize. 2. Life: You say that people often say that life is what you make of it, i agree 100% with that statement but that does not mean you can change everything about it, somethings are out of our control and no matter how hard you try you can't change them some people call destiny,fate,universal truths like death. Let me explain a bit, example 1: well you can earn a lot of money by working hard and providing a service/product that people want or you can just sit there and do nothing, just get government benefits and waste your life. so moral is you control whether you are going to be wealthy or not. example 2: somebody is getting mugged, so you can either help them or ignore whats happening and walk away. If you help them you will achieve a sense of accomplishment, if you don't help them you will fell empty. Moral you control what kind of a person you become. i hope i cleared it a bit for you or may be complicated it, but that what i feel and think about those two topics. Regards, Sher.Khalsa
alright according to my belief, we as human beings have a lot potential that we do not know about (or should i say that we have lost memory about it through neglect). In the olden days people could travel world with a blink of an eye, treat medical conditions etc. You would ask how was that possible simple answer TANTRA & MANTRA now don't ask me explain that( i would have to write 1000's of pages for that which i can't and don't want to do) google is your friend.
I don't believe dreams mean anything, its just a figment of the things that happened in your day to day life, and have no relevant meaning in your future.
