I would love to hear everyone's opinions on the best places/methods of banner advertising for CJ affiliates. Have you had a successful experience with a banner advertising network that didn't shun you for affiliate links? Please share! :D

I am not an expert but I think it will be true to say that the "heat pad" that AdSense uses can be applied to CJ banner placement as well. AdSense favors 728X90 banners up on top of the pages and 300X250 banners in the center/middle of the pages. 120X600 and 160X600 banners work when placed on the sides as well, but they are not as effective as those two formats.

I would stay away from 468X60 (never really worked for me in AdSense).

    Thanks, VitalBusiness.

I'm hoping to find an effective banner advertising network that I can use as opposed to running banners on my own site.

It's not 100% clear what you want - are you looking for a company (like an ad network) to place banner ads on your website as a replacement for your CJ links? If so, what is your traffic like?

Sorry I wasn't clear - I am indeed looking for an ad network. I found a similar post in another forum listing these:

    CPC:
Cost per click - the cost or cost-equivalent paid per click-through.
    Google Adsense
    Yahoo Publisher Network (Beta)
    Chitika
    BidClix
    BannerBoxes
    Adbrite
    AdSonar
    Clicksor
    Searchfeed
    Revenue Pilot
    Kontera

    CPM:
    Cost per thousand impressions
    Tribal Fusion
    Casale Media
    BurstMedia
    RealTechNetwork
    ValueClick Media
    Buds Ad Network
    MaxOnline
    24/7 Real Media
    Bannerconnect
    Mamma Media Solutions
    Adtegrity
    Ad pepper Media
    Rightmedia.com
    Advertising.com
    Accelerator Media
    AdSmart
    AdAgency1

    CPA/CPL
Cost per Action - model in which payment is based solely on qualifying actions such as sales or registrations.
    Linkshare
    Commission Junction
    ShareASale
    WebSponsors
    Advertising.com
    Azoogle Ads
    Maxbounty

Anyone have any experience (good or bad) with these advertising networks?

What I would like to do is find an advertising network that will let me post ads that use affiliate links directly instead of links to my websites. Is it a pipe dream? :p
