You are in a real competitive market and people are reluctant to host their site with brand new companies. The way I see it, the only way people take chance with brand new companies like yours is if you offer some crazy hosting deals. Building a brand image can take quite a while...
I agree with a previous reply that people are usually very hesitant to host their site with brand new companies..In saying that, I think right now you really need to focus on building clientele and not even think about the money side of things. I think that is the fairly basic though process for a lot of new business's, not just in your field. I know we have to have 1) a cheaper product and 2) a better product especially in this recession. Aside from that you need to generate as many people as possible to your site doing all the regular SEO and internet marketing stuff listed all over this site (blogs, forums, videos, submitting articles etc...) Oh, you are a newbie inside a fierce arena - web hosting business. So, it would need you a much long time if you want to get organic results. Searching this forum, you would get more ideas on how to market your site.
