not really worth my time... end of the day its only "$5" and you get what you pay for. Besides, for most, you can only leave feedback if the job is completed. Cancelled gigs give out the system generated "cancelled" message -> that message is inadequate when jobs are late for 3months or longer.

It is also kind of difficult to leave feedback for some of them. For example, one person on fiverr I paid $15 to promote a website that was free to signup at universities, and this is a product that would have appealed to them. Now, not only did I not get a single signup (even this person on fiverr who I paid to review and promote the site failed to join the site), but when the promotion supposedly started, the site showed zero hits at all. I would have expected at least a couple of people to visit the site. I did let them know privately the results, and the guy pretended to be shocked -> now I would be inclined to call this a scam, as he knows full well that his gig is useless, but he still sells it. BUT people leave feedback on the seller delivering the job, NOT on the results you get.
Same with all the times i have paid for "twitter" of "facebook" promotions, no increase in site traffic, noone clicks. ALL of them are scams, (as it is a waste of money on the buyers behalf) but people leave positive feedback, because the seller did what they were paid to do.

In this case, (and in all other times i hired people to promote my site(s)) I left the guy positive feedback. he did prove that he did advertise and promote the site, but the listing shouldnt be on fiverr at all. The next person that hires him will have the same result, paying $5-$15 (depending on addons etc) and will get zero results. Theres dozens of promotion gigs like this, that give zero results, zero traffic, and just a complete waste of time and money.

What feedback would you leave for a guy, that completed what he was providing, but what he was providing was useless?

With SEOclerks, now 100% of the people that I have hired there were useless (fiverr is probly only 90% useless). For one of them, they make it clear that if you leave them honest feedback, that they will ruin your site in the search engine rankings. So think about that, your money is already lost, but leaving honest feedback will cripple your site. So yeah... not worth leaving feedback there. And the other one that was useless, when I left positive feedback (and I was the first to do so) i had them crying to me constantly, and after chatting with site admins, finally agreed to having my comments removed from their listing. The reason the seller was so upset was they had heaps of people falling for their service, but with my honest feedback, they claimed that made no sales.

To be honest, my initial attraction to fiverr, was not its pricing, but rather the way I could find all the people I needed to hire in one spot. The crap experience makes me reluctant to try another site.

@matt_62, sounds like you've had gruesome experiences. The last "put your ad on my website for a month" gig from fiverr that I paid $15 for did get me over 200,000 impressions but I got few clicks and no conversions. As I am now running the same banner on 7Search and seeing the same results, I have to conclude it is the banners that I'm using.

I can't believe a site actually threatened to ruin you because you left honest feedback! My god, that's horrible! No wonder you're leary of such services.
