We just launched a new site in a very competitive industry. I'm looking for opinions on design. Do you think this looks professional? This is a real, quality product. Do we portray this well? Opinions greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the feedback! We were trying to communicate our value propositions clearly without misleading anyone. I could see how this may look like a landing page.

It's a very tricky market as many are skeptical. It's hard to visually communicate to your audience that you have a really high quality product that works in this market.

looks quite nice, just one thing - why menu images are jpg's? gif/png would be more professional I think...

Now granted it is a site just for marketing a product, but you need some real content on it. Tell them why they should buy it and comparing it to other diet pills.

I think the design looks great. Is there any way you could get some testimonials on there? I like the fact that you have news stories on there, which adds some credibility, but testimonials would provide even more of the social proof factor.

I think the design overall looks good, but I have no idea where to click. I think there is to much text and to many graphics on the frontpage. I guess everbody will just klick on the big image in the middle of the side, so the rest of your frontpage doesn't really matter.

It seems to be a landing page. So you should make it more professional

Thanks for all the feedback. We have been making modifications. Our competitors are now attacking and making false claims, so I have a lot of online reputation management to do.

-We are getting results and testimonials by running the contest for $10k
-Plenty of unique content has been added as well as a blog with even more content, we will add regularly
-We have a lot on the homepage, but we are trying to push different buttons for different target markets.

I go to your website but I'm not really sure what I am supposed to be looking at, there's too many distractions on the eye, which is giving me link blindness to the location where I am supposed to be going to next, to find the information that I need.

Content should be up near the top of the page, explaining to me exactly what it is that your product can do for me.

Too many graphics may look pretty but they will not help your search engine optimisation.

No need for any flash on your site, that doesn't do a thing for the site overall.

You need to focus on delivering the exact message that you want to portray to your site visitors, so that the website works as a mechanism to close a deal fast. It's about making a sale in the optimum timeframe possible and giving information that your web visitors need that matters.

As a standalone site it looks ok, (sort of), if you are into that kind of thing, though stacked up against a myriad sites just like it, does it look professional in my view? No. Sorry.

I'd be inclined to stay on your site for no longer than a few seconds, simply because there is way too much clutter.

I'd advise going for a cleaner, more sleek image which conveys what this product/s is about extremely easily for your visitors, so put yourself in their shoes and look at it from their perspective, not from your own viewpoint, or the perspective of your designers pov.

it looks good but its a bit too much in your face.

I think adding the woman in knickers probably isnt the best way to advertise :)

Use this heatmap tool to find out what is jumping off the page at your website visitors in the first few seconds ...
