Opinions on my new site design, please!

I completely redesigned my blog last night and I'd like opinions please! Any opinions or suggestions you have are appreciated. www.ginismagic.blogspot.com

 

This background image http://img354.imageshack.us/img354/4924/ginismagicbackgroundtillj6.jpg loads in Firefox but not in IE6 I checked, it use white background instead, something blocked it, after you reloaded the page you still see white background.

Nice header and design.

I think it will look cooler if you make the gray background color to light gray/grey or to a lighter color.

 

The site looks good the header and the theme is nice.

 

I like the colours they work well with each other and overall neat and cool design

 

Thanks for the opinions, guys. I made a couple more changes including lightening the color of the main post area and side bar. I also made it so that both areas appear the same length and I've re-integrated the CommentLuv plugin.

Are there any other changes you would suggest?

lycos - I liked the old one too but I got too many complaints that it was difficult to read so I decided to change it.

 

nice job on the header. i wish i had skills like that.
