Hi, this is my site: http://www.eminembase.com As you can see, it's an Eminem fansite. I'm just getting back to work on it seriously as, I've had it for two years and always left it unfinished and just obsessively honed or updated small elements but, I really wanna finish it now. Anyway, I'm a perfectionist so would love anybody more knowledgeable on XHTML / CSS than me (I have... about six years self-taught experience but, I learn things randomly) to critique my structure or let me know if I'm sporting some kind of fatal issue. Any opinions, or feedback on the design / layout and any advice for improvement in terms of comparability or making it a more user-friendly site or whatever else would be hugely appreciated. Thanks.
Wow!!! I have seen your link there are many beautiful pictures and also stylish,I’m glad that you shared this beautiful info with us. Please keep us informed like this. Thanks for sharing.
Bravo on the photo quality, very nice! Style wise a little web 2.0 looking, elvis.com isn't a perfect example, sorry sir, but I do like that the Elvis photo, it is so big that it makes me think about how great he is instantly, it's the impact I think make me appreciate the website more, the size of the photo and the way it's presented is appealing, to me at least. Hope this helps!
Hmm. Well, I'm aware it's a bit 'square', I may soften certain edges / elements of it a bit to modernise it. But, I intentionally made it more 'flat' and less round and flashy as web 2.0 design looks so predictable now with the shines and shades and everybody always does the same thing. So I wanted it to be more unique. In respects to the gradient... I'm not crazy about gradients personally. But if you look at the yellow H1 image and the menu toppings, you'll notice a light shading I've done on them, to give them a bit of character / depth. I wanted it subtle though. But, thanks for the feedback, I welcome any and all comments, it's all about improving and the strive for perfection. Perfection in my mind, or 'the mind of designer' at least that is.
