I have a lot of dog breeders use my photo hosting service to upload photos of their dogs for sale. Right now I have decent rankings for 'pet classified' and 'pet classifieds'. (2nd page on google). Now, the phrase 'dog for sale' shows a lot of monthly searches so I was thinking of targetting that phrase as well. Question, if YOU were looking to sell your dogs, would you use this search? Or, do you think that only people looking to BUY a dog would use it? I really need to get the sellers to my site to upload photos, not the people looking to buy necessarily. So, what do you think? Would this search phrase work? Thoughts?
I think the per classified(s) keywords are ideal for relevancy. However, if you are looking to increase relevant traffic, use some online tools for suggestions. https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
Hi, it's just a personnal opinion, but it seems that 'dogs for sale' is as appropriate for sellers than for buyers. Maybe, you could try to associate keywords 'photos' and 'dogs for sale'
I don't think it's a simple thing where only sellers (or only buyers) will use 'dogs for sale'. I would still target the phrase and give the inappropriate visitors a way out through adsense.
