For a directory on american lawyers, do any of these domains work?
    TheFirm.us
    LawyersOffice.us

    Whats your opinion?
Should I use one of them, or should I just keep searching?

    Thanks

In the 2nd domain name (LawyersOffice), Lawyers is very fine word present in the domain name, but Office does not make much sense for a directory.

While the 1st domain name (TheFirm) does not sound good for a directory of Lawyers.

If you dont find better domain name after your search, then i would suggest you to stick with 2nd domain name i.e. LayersOffice

If you find all common combinations taken
then LawyersOffice.us is good. I also found followings
are available. Try changing second word and
do your research. Words like Office is formal
and pretty good for a site on lawyers.

    lawyersclub.us and lawyershub.us

LawyersOffice.us seems to be the better of the two.

LawyersOffice.us is fine, nice and relevant. It seems that for some directories, especially general ones, very little thought has been put into choosing a name.

You should probably avoid TheFirm.us, because of the film. After all, it was about lawyers to the mob, and I'm not sure how many lawyers would want to be associated with that image. Although there probably wouldn't be trademark issues, it's usually a good idea to stick with something generic and not steal someone else's movie title for your law directory.
