Ok, I've seen a few people bring them up when talking about ad tracking and watching click fraud, but no real details as to why it's so great, so does any one have an opinion on AdWatcher, good or bad? Client is looking at it and I need a little more info before I make a recommendation.
To be honest I think that when advertisers look at PPC as an advertising effort they need to factor click fraud into their budget. Unfortunately as we all know click fraud is a part of PPC life and no matter what the ad network does they cant stop it completely. Its kind of like flyers... if I print 10,000 flyers and drop them off at 10,000 homes I know that a certain % of them will be thrown straight into the bin, which costs me money. Its very similar with PPC. No one likes wasting money of course but I think if advertisers got into the mindset that some of their clicks will be "thrown in the bin" then the better off everyone will be. Do not get me wrong, I am against click fraud and will do what I can to prevent it, absolutely. Its like if I could figure out a way to stop some of those homes throwing my flyer in the bin and reading it I would! Make sense?
