opinions of Indian domain extensions?

    So, there's:

    * .in
    * .co.in
    * .firm.in
    * .net.in
    * .org.in
    * .gen.in
    * .ind.in

    Are the ".in" and ".co.in" the only ones worth registering? Which one of those 2 are used more often?

    I would use the .in extension to get a cool name in English. Like Iam.in
    assuming they have not been taken all already.

    That's the problem with the .in ones, everything you can imagine has already been taken :(

    Good .in domain names have been taken since .in does not have geo-restriction.

    .in and .co.in are used very frequently as its a vanity cctld for INTERNET..i havent seen much use of the others thou.. and theres a Promotion too at most websites..so a Domain worth USD 15 is now available for USD 5 – 6.
