First thought: That's quite a few different colors. How about lose the red in the menu and change it to that nice turqoise? The AJAX bit is a bit jarring to a casual viewer. If you could work some moo.fx action to have it slide in with a fade it would be less jarring. I love the design though and with the exception of the red (and the orange seems a bit off sometimes) the colors are soothing. Nice layout. Keep it up!
