I'm going to agree with the comments regarding the drop shadow. I'd also recommend expanding the text on the bottom full length of the logo...and possible a darker color - it seems to get lost or overlooked a bit. Overall it looks nice. A few minor tweeks and I'd call it done! ;-) To Your Success,
You really need to remove the text on the hat. You also need to size the text underneath to the width of the blue line. Also I would make that big a sans-serif font, the look better for the smaller text on a logo.
It a nice logo. It explains everything that the viewers that needs to know about what you want to brand to them
yeah very cool...although I see the wording in there...not sure what the logo is for or it supposed to represent. I'm only assuming. And yeah for printing I would get rid of the drop shadow and try just regular type or outline it to make it pop. Good job though and good use of color imagery.
I am new to this thread and would like to offer a few thoughts/questions. I saw the original logo you posted and like your type treatment of "EDYOUCATE" better in all caps then upper and lower. I think it reads better. I think removing the shadow as a good idea. What you have looks clean. You're close. It just needs to be tightened up. Have you considered the following? Scaling down the cap to be a third of its size and put it on the globe as if it was wearing it? Or another character? What if you removed the cap and globe and focused on using the tassle as your design element? You could add it to the right corner dangling off the "e". Making the blue rule line thinner and the exact same width as the words "EDYOUCATE"? How would the tagline "Recruiting The Best" look tracked out and the full width of the words "EDYOUCATE"? What are some other graphic ways you can communicate a globe? Can't wait to see your updated version.
It's decent but here's some suggestions: - Remove the text from the hat. It just makes the hat look messy - I would keep the EDYOUCATE text in CAPS. You do not need to emphasize the YOU, people can read and will spot it by themselves. - Blue line width to match the EDYOUCATE width - The tagline could be wider, maybe even as wide as the blue line. The font is pretty bad. Also try to add more spacing to the tagline letters to give it more air.
