I have been looking at several different political themed domain names. I would like opinions on if having "The" at the beginning makes any difference or not: example only: websitename.com or thewebsitename.com Does the "The" really matter? Thanks!
It's part of branding. It's not whether it matters or not. It's whether you want it there or the name without it is available. It would help more in the search engines if you have the exact keyword in the domain and that usually doesn't include the word "the".
I think can be usefull for get a domain with premium keyowrd that wasn't free without "the" I think is something like the "e" and the "i" or "my" etc.... in front of the domains.
According to me, Its not matters for your political theme.. Think better domain name with your political view.
i think that is ok, my tips is minimize the using of dash - or buy domain names based on yout target keyword, and ready to spend your time to optimize it
