    Don't use duplicate content :)

This is what I have been trying to get at - I want a solution that lets you add your own content on a per product basis. Then your pages don't get excluded from the SERPs and the visitors will be a lot more targetted.

You might wanna check out the APF Bridge from deanmarshall. It uses a free perl script from Mr Rat (Great name) and allows you to embed Amazon aff. listings inside Joomla - then the skys the limit for content etc. Easy(ish) to configure. I'm trying it out just now here - watch for developments over the next few days.

I tried AOM first but it was too technical for me a newbie.

Then tried Ecommerce (E4E) but it is limited with no user guide and for 2 days my emails havens been answered. The video tutorials are very general.

Now am going to try the Amazon store function in my xsitepro 2. Anyone had experience with that?

I looked at AOM, and E4E so far...

AOM looks OK, but the look is not so nice as E4E. As some said, the script is encrypted.

E4E looks much better, but no self hosting.

Still looking around for a good script for an Amazon store.

    Yep me as well.

My experience with xsitepro wasn't good - it generates very bad markup. I wouldn't touch it again.

    Hi freshdevelopment,
xsitepro 2 is supposed to be a great improvement - but I'm a new so can't say how much.

The problem with E4E is that there seems to be just one guy running it and he relies too much on autoresponders. I kept asking a question and getting the same response. And when I finally got a response, he referred me to the previous messages!
