    Hi Everybody,

I need some opinion regarding an ebook that I have, the topic is about soccer score prediction; I use statistical approach to calculate the prediction, really rely on science. It has been tested for several years and it’s 70% accurate.

    My questions are:
    1. Can I sell this kind of product through clickbank?
    2. How is the market for this kind of ebook?
    3. How is the best price for this ebook?

Thank you before for your opinion.

    1) You can sell it
    2) There's a few successful selling gambling books on clickbank.
    3) If you get a good sales page, and proven results/testiomonials, I'd say something like $99.95 (Gamblers are willing to spend money)

On a side note if you really are achieving 70%, why sell your formula? You could make a fortune betting the games yourself. Even professional gamblers are typically happy with a 58/59% success rate.

I wouldn't say no to a review copy, if you are offering any?

    Yes.

Enormous. But you can make sales only with a very good sales page, and the refund rates are very high as well. There's some "turnover" of products like this on Clickbank, who will eventually remove them from their Marketplace if the refund rates make it not worth their while bothering with it for the sake of their own small cut of the sales value.

That depends entirely on the sales copy. Broadly speaking, there's a "$25 market" and a "$100 market" but they're two entirely separate groups of people who will respond to entirely different types of sales pages. You need a copywriter who knows the niche and can advise you about this, and you need to be willing to listen and take his advice, otherwise it will be a screw-up, like many products in this niche turn out to be.

This is one of the key points about products in this specific niche. As copywriters know, they can only be successfully sold (with a low refund-rate) to people who are too gullible to ask themselves this question. Having sales copy that's specifically written for that market is inevitably the difference between success and failure.

Thank you RattleSnake316 and alexa_s, your opinion is a very great input for me.

I conclude that sales copy & testimonial play an important role here. I haven't translated the ebook to the english version, so there is no a review copy for the time being. I will tell you when it's ready.

I am still thinking whether I want to give the formula or just give a tool to predict the score (ie. excel file with a hidden formula), so people can only input the data and click the button and the prediction will be shown.

If you are going to do it, you should get it going quick. The World Cup is right around the corner. I paid off half of my house using the last World Cup. And it only comes around every 4 years.

You will not be able to hide your formula, if you provide an excel file your formula will be discovered pretty quickly

You can actually protect an excel spreadsheet but of course you rely on your market having excel - its still expensive for some people. Why not make a smart app, distribute it free with a limited (say 3 games predictor) per week, and sell subscriptions to the database/algorithm. That way it could go viral as people pass it around and you can give a teaser of how good your predictor is (assuming it is of course :)) Best of all its monthly residual income for you and your affiliates. PM me if you are interested in more ideas, I am a WinForms programmer and would be happy to JV if you want.

Well the actual plan for promoting the product is dope, but the product itself seems kind of "unessecary" (I can't think of the right word). Just because it's not that much of a big deal to predict the scores of soccer matches. If you can market this toward gamblers, then that will help.

    Overall, good luck Lol.
