This one? For the price they have up there of course. It's £549 (around USD1000). Sorry, i'm not amazing when it comes to relating things to a price. I was looking at this other one too, but it's only got the one graphics card. Is it worth the extra £40 for the extra graphics card? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, TS
You don't get any support from Ebay Sellers. If you buy it from a store you normally get some sort of support for a year or so. That being said the one with the dual graphics cards is a better deal.
That one has a year of support. It's an ebay shop that is selling it. Not just some ebay person. Thanks I'll probably go with the first one anyway.
I would go with the first one.. Great value.. I know someone that has bought a system from dlrcomputers and had no problems.. I'm sure buying through their Ebay store would be no different..
That 1st PC looks like a nice value; I haven't seen anything with a quad-core processor and SLI graphics for that cheap in retail stores or from independent builders.
Yeah, I just ordered it. I'll be sure to say if it's good or not. Should come soon, then i'll have to install vista and everything else on it. Probably keep my computer I have at the moment, incase I need XP for something.
Nice computer! Definitely keep your XP computer around for awhile, though. I got Vista right after it came out, and while I'm one of the few people I know that likes it, there are still a number of compatability issues with software. It will be nice to have access to all your existing software on your XP computer as you acclamate yourself and your programs to Vista. Also, make sure that computer has plenty of room to breathe. It says that the fanless cooling design is state-of-the-art, but I would make sure the machine is not enclosed on three sides or anything.
Looks nice, but the graphics cards (8500GT) arn't good. I don't know how they're in SLi, but alone they arn't very good cards. Do you plan on gaming? Because if you do I suggest you take them both out, sell them straigth away and get a single 8600 or even better, 8800. If not, then all sounds dandy! Hope you enjoy it.
I don't plan on doing any gaming online or anything. Not really a gaming person much, just plan to play a few games I have and if any new games I want come out then play them, think the newest game I've got is broken Sword: Angel of Darkness, and i'm sure it'll play that fine. It's mostly for multimedia work. ps thanks Curtis, i'll make sure I don't enclose it.
