Blog looks good , you just need to make it look bit more attractive with goes well with your theme apart from more content
Word of suggestion:
you should create your own website rather than going for free blog.
If you have zeal to write . make money out of it..try selling ur content writing for blogs, try becoming paid poster in forum, try content writing for big websites so that at-least u have something to extra to attach to your achievements.
