Opera cookie problem

Oops. Posted the wrong title but I don't know how to change it. The title should have been - Opera browser problem

I normally use the Opera browser and the usernames and passwords are all stored so I can just press the "key" to automatically login to my sites. The problem is that the site username/password that were saved no longer work, even entering them manually won't work. The usernames/passwords still works in another browser, but that means having to enter and save them again, and I prefer using Opera rather than having to open another browser.

Anybody know how to fix this?

better to clear once all cache history etc and try to save again

 

Yeah, that's an idea, but I have a ton of cookies and I'll be upgrading to a new computer withing a year and hate to have to do it twice. Anyway I'm not sure it would work as I've tried entering the info manually without success.

it may be some corrupt history data files in opera so i think thats the only way now
