Days ago I installed OpenX Source on my servers. Connecting to OpenX Market only results in PSA ads displayed so far. Anyone successful in actually getting OpenX Market payed ads displayed? Any experiences from current times? Like how to be approved as publisher etc. The OpenX forum seems unattended with several open important questions open since weeks or months. Who among you is currently using OpenX source together with OpenX Market as ad source for real revenue? Sharing CURRENT OpenX Market experiences are most welcome
After all was properly setup and running on my own server - nothing but PSA ads, ZERO help from support, many links in admin section of openx NOT working or 404 - look at forum - many really important questions OPEN - many problems unsolved most important of all - there was NO single real ad ever served after connecting to OpenX Market. after approximately 1 months i had some 1$ or less - on pages i normally would have some 4000 us$ adsense !!! there was no communication with any openx team ( as you would expect for an account opening, verification, payment methods., etc) in my opinion openx market is a world's leading ad scam ! nothing short of that now i have all openx stuff disabled or removed and enjoy clean ad-free pages and most likely that is what I maintain all future. bye bye ad stuffed pages - just plain quality content.
I have experience working with Openx Market. I want to say its worst ad network/exchange/RTB (whoever they call themselves) I ever worked with! They banned my site due to excessive number of ads. WTF? Adsense working for years and I have waaaaay higher CPMs with them and WAAY better fill rate. Most definite NO to openx market!!!!! And thats my final review!
I am just wondering if Open X really pays its publishers. They say they pay on a Net 45 schedule, but now its 70 days later and i still havent received my payment. have communicated with their finance department and they keep saying payments are being sent soon
You are talking about dead zombies because OpenX Market has been closed long time ago. OpenX has even sold the rest of its open-source adserver-software to an ex-developer who is trying to revive it on revive-adserver.com
