below is the development in asp.net template, i need help with coding css, and many other things. someone help me share this great idea ! opensource for windows

this script is missing, a search feature and a admin section to remove video from mdb, i need someone to build this admin feature for everybody . also there should be more videos on front page like 3 gride style videos. now only 1 per line. someone with asp.net experience help out please

 

opentube missing upload progress bar, i will try to add this, i need help if anybody knows asp.net my expericene on asp.net is all in dreamweaver 8 lol i'll do my best !

anybody willing to help out, im not sure where to start with this, i need this added to opentube, without this spammers will just upload lots of rubbish into the system,

things to do, still need to add a web admin feature into opentube, where admin can delete video'a from mdb, note opentube will be completly open so no user signups required i simply hate signing up 1000 times every day to upload a freaking video on some video sharing sites, opentube will be nothing like the other crapy linux based video sharing scripts.

of course its free ! the only thing which is not free is the sothinkmedia ffmpeg wrapper, but i think its possible to bypass that and just use ffmpeg insted of sothinkmedia commandline encoder, i don't care about that software only the aspx template.

note also, there is a php version and classic asp from sothinkmedia, so you might want to check them out if you dislike asp.net

I don't have much experience in ASP.net but I know PHP/MySQL and I can help in developing this script in PHP.

 

here is the php code, this is stright from sothinkmedia website, i didnt change anything to this code,

maybe i should use php instead of asp.net as many people use php nowadays

today i will mess around with the php version of this script, i think its better if people make changes to php script instead of asp.net

this script comes in a very simple design, no progress bar when uploading, no administrator section to remove video clip from database, not mysql but mdb, but im sure this can be changed into mysql.

and more thumbnails needed in front page.

i will help as much as i can. today i will convert this php so it looks same as opentube 3 theme

Comments can be done via PHP I think and the use of tables, not too sure how asp.net works. Let me know if you need any CSS help, I can try and help make it look the way you intend if you ever have a problem with layout.

 

sorry everybody i've gone back to asp.net opentube, the php version doesnt seem to work for me, i've followed the help pages from sothinkmedia but just couldnt make php with the commandline encoder to start encoding. so i'm moving forward with asp.net of opentube template.

not all is bad, you can always try the php version and try to build it your self improve the template etc. but the main thing is i'm working with the asp.net template now, and i dont think i will change it anymore.

alot of work needs in opentube 3 template,

Jcap needs to be added, the most important thing is admin feature, and i need to change from mdb to mysql connection. oh god help me
