opensource Intranet Solution

    Hi all,

    Would like to seek your advise on this..

    If I want an intranet with these features:

    Employees directory
    Task Manager
    Event Calenders
    Online Contact Management
    Message Board
    Polls
    Surveys
    Contests
    Classified Section
    Articles
    Document Repository

    Which open source solution is ideal? drupal, plone, joomla? Are they capable of having the above features?

    I personally would recommend the Joomla! CMS as that is what my team specializes in. It does have the capability to support all of the features that you have requested and because it is a CMS it would take no time at all for you to edit/update the site once it has been designed and set up for you. In addition, we offer continuing support and quality affordable web hosting.

    There are nearly 2,000 extensions you can add in Joomla. Joomla will solve your problem.

    Why don't you try it with Drupal and CiviCRM? They're technologies we use at TALCOD (French open source web agency I work at) and they're great.
