When opened a HTML webpage in Microsoft Expression Web 4 its looks broken after opening. Do I need to connect some kind of database software or there are other ways to make the webpage look exactly similar inside Microsoft Expression Web 4 as it looks in a web browser? I require to know because I want to edit this template using this software --- http://demo.themefisher.com/demos/?theme=fame
You'll have to edit the hell out of it, that animation is well and truly high end annoying. You're going at this backward. You have something you want or need to do, so choose the tool that works for the problem. Reminds me of the old joke about the workman who goes to the toolshed and asks for a big wrench. The tool master sz, "what size?" "A bigun," the worker replies. "Let's try again, what size nut do you need to turn?" "It don't matter, I need a big wrench to hammer with." Like you, he's choosing his tool first rather than choosing the tool that's fit for the job. gary
Try using brackets, a free useful HTML editor which include features like, live previous. You can easily edit, HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT and see live updates directly from the browser while editing. Regards, Chris
If you're fixing a template then you probably won't be able to use a WYSIWYG editor - you'll only be seeing part of the picture, it's probably not picking up the right css files etc. Edit it, upload and test. Better still, have a test subdomain to play on before you upload to your live site.
