    OpenCart is much better the osCommerce. I used to have my website on oscommerce but then decided to re-design it and went with opencart. Much cleaner, admin panel is great, many modules to add on and the default template looks a lot more professional then oscommerce.

    Open cart is Pr6

    Google gives huge authority to oscommerce . because it is widely used - most users.
    So there must be any reason why more people use oscommerce
    every thing is possible in oscommerce which is possible in any other cart softwares.
    I gave vote to oscommerce

    I still prefer OpenCart than osCommerce.... maybe VirtueMart is fine too or Magento :)

    osCommerce is now even more outdated than it was 2 years ago. OpenCart has proved to be a top solution for ecommerce.
    However with the rise of Magento many users migrated from osCommerce and OpenCart to Magento. Practical Ecommerce has recently published some qurious statistics about how many people move to Magento.
