Does anyone know of a way to make this happen? For example, you have an image on your site which is hyperlinked to start the visitors msn messenger to automatically initiate a chat window with your messenger profile. Ultimately trying to set up a way to get my site visitors to click that link and they can message me directly. Thanks :)

    Hi

I do that at my site. Look at the contact bit on the sidebar. Click that and it calls a url from www. the-server .net and it does exactly as you say. It is part of the wordpress theme I use, so I am not sure whether it needs the theme to work, but I cannot get it to work just by typing the url.

[edit] Found out how to do this. Visit www. the - server.net and click on the online status icons lick at the top. You can then choose the icons and/or urls to use.

You can also click the MSN icon on the upper right of itexpress's post and view source.
