open source project Google Chormium

    i heard that google going to launch new open source project Google Chormium. Is anybody heard about this. Google always try for new things which help to the people for making work easy. i thing google chormium also be the top chart after launch.

    what you think guys.

    I haven't heard about this, would be interested if they went don't the open source route, but persoanlly i can't see google doing it

    FYI "chromium" is the code base behind chrome.

    I think it is a hype .. i have not heard about any such project ...
    but if it is their then obviously product of google will be extraordinary . . .

    Google Chrome is JUST a google branded version of Chromium. It is not new.

    Chromium is the base behind Google Chrome. You're allowed to access the source code and develop Chrome as you like.
