I got that working, not sure what was wrong, but i re-entered my key and camp id and the errors went away. I must have screwed that up before. I still can't get a theme to show up though. Any ideas?

Scratch that, i got it working. The theme folder needs to be in the root. I was looking through my apache error log and it couldn't find them so i moved it.

    Awesome script so far!

Just installing this now. Thanks for the offer, though a little bit pricey at £0.000000012 when you take into account for my downloads bandwidth:eek: J/K, it's less than 40kb:D

I tried to download it with Firefox and was able to. IE wouldn't let me.

My question is will the script work with yahoo small business hosting provider?

I had the same problems when i was trying it out yesterday. First, the theme folder needs to be in the root directory. The second problem appears that your AppID number isn't right or hasn't been entered. If you look in the sites folder->default file you can see where to enter it.

The requirements are php 5 with curl, htaccess with mod_rewrite. No database needed.

You will need an ebay developrr account and production key. This is different than an ebay affiliate account. If you get errors about for loops, that means your production key is not set correctlly.

I looked it over, the product looks pretty good but I am going to stick with tried and tested BANS. I have had a lot of good luck with BANS.

I am not a programmer, so BANS is right down my alley and I like the flexibility and support I have gotten from them.

Hey, i noticed one bug. It may just be something on my end though, but when you page ahead or click on some other links it works fine. The problem happens when you click on home after paging ahead or clicking on the other links. When i do that it defaults to index.php. The home location becomes http://www.***.com/buy/index.php and then it says:
    index.php Related Searches

If you like index.php, try these related items.

Okay, so the help file isn't particularly helpful at all. This is what I gather:

$AppId is the Developer Production key, found here, by clicking 'Key Set 1', three fields are shown, with DEVID, APPID and CERTID. I assumed the correct key is the APPID.

The 'Campaign ID' is also found through the eBay Affiliate website, by logging in, clicking the 'Campaign' tab, and the key is listed as the Default campaign, in a numerical format, such as 1234567890.

My server meets all the requirements, I moved the theme folder to the root of the server, and now a couple of the issues have disappeared. But this still persists:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/cupargc/public_html/cupargardencentre/auctions/themes/default/index.php on line 110
    Code (markup):
    Any ideas?

    webtarded,
You bug is coming from the template. In the template file, there may be a few links to index.php. If you just replace that with "/" or whatever path you have to the script like "/mcjiffy/" then those errors will go away.

    Spider-Man,
It looks like you grabbed the write developer key. It should be the AppId listed under the Production Keys and not the Sandbox keys. It looks something like "xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx". Have you changed the main keys? Can your php use curl?

    Arthur,
    1. I'll change the template soon and show you how you can do that.

    2. I haven't documented and made it easy to use, but you can specify a specific ebay category. You will need to edit the main index.php file and once you do this, it will affect all the sites you run under the McJiffy EASy script. Around line 65 you will see an entry for $node = ... Right after line 68, $node['sortby'] = ..., insert a new line with:

    $node['ebaycat'] = 123456; // the ebay category number.

This will limit the RSS auction items to only that category.
