Open Linka in New Window

What settings do I need to apply in Wordpress to get all of the links on my pages to open in a new window? Thanks.

When editing your entry, switch from the Visual view to the HTML view, find your link there which will look something like <a href="http://some_web_site" target="_blank">http://some_web_site</a>. Add target="_blank" in there.

Also, you can try Microsoft's Windows Live Writer, you can use it to write your blog entry. When you add a link, it gives you the option to "open in a new window".

Wow thanks guys. I'm going to install that plugin And while I have your attention, can someone tell me why my latest post in my blog feed isn't showing up next to my avatar? I know that my feed is working. It was showing my last blog entry, but lately, it isn't. Thanks.

 

I can't help you there, mine hasn't worked in months. For some reason it keeps displaying that same head line, which is over a year old.

target="_blank" will suffice.. there's no more need to install a plugin, unless you really don't know about HTML or afraid to mess up.

 

Well, how about for posts which been published in past?
