Open Blog Networks - Which are the best?

I am looking to join a blog network for two blogs, one about webmastering and SEO and one about Alternative Power Systems. Both are nice and new, one has good PR and the other should be a PR4 or 5 next update. Neither has much traffic, and I would like to join a blog network to help me take it to the next level. I think the marketing and link boost wil help a lot. What networks do you recommend?

b5 media , 9rules , are some of the networks i know .
I dont know what is the criteria , they require , in order to join , but they do , bring you massive traffic , if you have what they want .

I'd assume it's pretty hard to get in.
