Just found out the url for my car blog has been banned from submitting to Digg. Never really saw much traffic from Digg anyway, but I resent my car blog being referred to as SPAM!

Ummm... is this a trick questions? :p
I may have submitted a couple of stories. I may have exchanged a couple of diggs with a couple of people. But I think of that as a social experiment. :D

Once my site was banned too, because I submitted many links from my site (actually spamming), then after 1 month so, I sent a mail to digg, explaining the situation, and finally they removed my ban and I have never spammed again :)
    The happy end. :D

I usually stick to a "once a week" guideline and I haven't had a problem with Digg yet.

Netscape banned one of my domains after just one submission.

I've been banned from Digg, Netscape and Newsvine on multiple occasions.

Simply put 301 redirect + new account.

I've begged them to let my main account back just to have them ban it again, can't blame me for trying to start a digg exploitation network can u?

I don't think you should get your url banned just for submitting your own stories. I think that should be allowed, if the masses don't like the story it'll sink anyway.

Try to contact by mailing them that you will not repeat the mistake again, they may reinstate your account by chance. :)
