This is probably the most marketing oriented project I've seen come out of Google. They're putting on a Da Vinci code contest, with 12358 puzzles, and all kinds of crazy prizes. Check it out: http://flash.sonypictures.com/movies/davincicodequest/us/prizing/index.html hmm, apparently we Canadians aren't intelligent enough for the contest... uS, UK, and AU only
how to play the puzzle? What does discrete mean? Anyone has an example of puzzle finished? Screenshot taken?
Prizes are really cool, apart from airtickets and hotel stays, sony products are great. I would've loved to participate.
fucking bastards us canadian have big dicks too!!! bwahaoialalalalwalallalallalaaaa ugh canada = the richest third world country in existance.
Can you post a screenshot here, i am so struck at that symbol puzzle. Dont feel like trying any more, since thers nothing to win for me.... Wanna know how it was solved.
There are several versions of each puzzle, so one solution will not solve all puzzles. I got a different one than my wife, both days. I will see if I can post some screen shots.
anyone else taking part in this? it was quite an easy one today, only took me 2 minutes! Also, the official site for the film is amazing!!
http://www.google.com/davincicode SPOILER WARNING: If you want to solve the puzzles yourself, you'd best be served not participating or reading this thread. I'll start off. The first one is a modified Sudoku puzzle. Instead of numbers you use symbols. Each row and column can only have each symbol once. Also, each shaded area of 4 blocks can only have each symbol once.
