late last night i went through my site and strated editing some description meta's and keywords. i decided to remove a abreviation of my keyword. i plan to make this update to every page on my site but it takes the pish so im doing it a few pages each time i get bored, but last night i made sure the index page was sorted and started doing each page alphabetically, (got to the end of b lol) anyway i just checked my keyword and i moved up a rank over the space of today. BIG DEAL i hear you say. well considering i was 4th and now im 3rd on page 1 i think it is. i thought this might inspire a few webmasters to check their meta tags and make them relavent, because they do seem to have some weight.
Well, I notice fluctuations much larger than that on a daily basis without making changes. It's still a good idea to check your meta tags, though, as the description tag is what searchers see. It's your ad copy!
