I launched a campaign last Tuesday and it did very well. On Wednesday & Thursday I didn't receive any leads so I decided to pause the campaign. On Saturday I decided to give it another shot so I resumed it. I came home that night and saw that I had a $7.45 ecpc. Then on Sunday and today I haven't received any leads. It seems as if I can't profit for consecutive days. Should I keep pausing and resuming my campaigns, lol. Has anyone else experienced this?
It is entirely depending upon what are you promoting. For example, generating music related leads work great on fridays. Similarly dating leads also work very well on thursday and fridays.
If you can track what time you're getting your leads, you can enable what time your ads show. I disable a few campaigns over the weekends because they never converted. Makes sense since they are office related. I also disabled between midnight and noon, since less than 10% of my sales came during those times on another campaign. I lose a little off the top, but it really cuts down on the advertising expenses.
all depends on your market. some days I rake it in other days cry. however pausing campaignd in my opiniion isn't a good idea because I think google rechecks keys and ads. So you might get screwed.
I have such experience with YSM and Adcenter though, but not Adwords. The first day is always the best day and the following days are with much less or even no leads. Just very curious about this!
