Only PR3 for websites that have less than 1 year old?

    I would tend to say that Google loves blogs as compared to forums and a lot of my blogs have hit up PR3 in one update and PR4 in the other. From my own experience, regularly updated Wordpress blogs with properly optimized titles, tags and permalinks rank up real quick. An average of 30/40 PR3++ links over a two month period coupled with regular content updation is enough to propel it to PR3 in one update and PR4 by the next update if you keep up the proccess. However, PR5 is a different ballgame together and takes a lot of time and authority to get there.

    i see that this thread is still open .there are many opinions.and,waiting more :)
    my conclusion is that an website can have more then PR3 in less then 1 year ,and i see that most of the people agree with that
