What is the approval ratio and how many weeks it will take to get approved from directory owners. I do understand that you will manually submit it, but I am concerned about net result, which is total approvals. Thanks
My review so far! I provided 3 variations of title / description, keywords and url & category. Akmenayet delivered a report of 101 submissions. More than 75% of these were expired domains. There were very few domains that were originally setup as directory sites. Of those few many were regional and would not have any non local listings when I looked thru their listings. Locations included New Zealand, Sudan, UK, Cyprus, etc. Examples of expired domains would include topics such as expired Hotel name, Florida Medical jobs domain, MEET FIRST NAME LAST NAME domain, bulldog blog domain name, domain names with year in them (ie. 2008, 2010). After sending the report Akmenayet asked me to post my review. To his request I replied that I am unable to do a review since he didnt validate any emails yet and I dont have any proof of submission other than his report of 101 sites submitted to. He didnt respond to me for a few days and I sent another PM. He replied to this PM and said that he resubmitted my site to show me that sites already submitted would show up as "already submitted" and provided another submission list of 125 submissions. He also stated that approval time would take 6-8 weeks and that he can forward me approval emails. From the 125 submission report most of the original 101 submissions showed up as duplicates like he states but within first 20 on the list it had 5+ listed as new submissions that were already included in the original 101 submissions. I replied to Akmenayet and let him know of this as well of the fact that most are expired domains but he didnt respond for several days. I PMed him yesterday and let him know that I will be posting a review of things that happened so far. He told me to proceed with my review and also told me that high PR directories dont have a high acceptance rate for free submissions. I will wait 6-8 weeks as he stated for approval time and see what gets approved. At that time I will post an update to my review as well as an itrader for Akmenayet.
Update: On 10/23/2011 I asked Akmenayet for an update on approvals. He replied on 10/24/2011 with: "NO. I can't" It was not a part of my contact. I have provided u the directory list. You go and check your site. thanks' I replied to him and told him that he provided me with a submission report, not with access to email address that was supposedly used for these submissions. There is no way for me to approve submissions without this. He never replied after that. You be the judge. What is the point of submissions if none of them will be approved by client (no access to email used) or vendor (refusing to approve them even though it was mentioned in the sales thread). 0/10 - absolutely worthless service. All you get is report of submissions to worthless expired domains now being used as directories.
