Good point. I haven't posted that, because writing good content seems natural for me -- but for many others that posted in this thread it probably isn't The best 'One SEO Tactic' would be a combination of these

Good content on the pages is great and I get the back links but where are the best places to get quality backlinks?

 

Organic backlinks are best. They are always one way, and 99% of the time they are targeted. With great content, there is no need to ask, pay, etc. This is the way the Web was intended, and Google loves it. Minipulating it will kill a site in the long run.

Best content always rank. No need link building because most of bloggers give back link if you have excellent information on your web-page.

You're right. Websites and blogs will link to good content. The backlinks will then be one-way, organic, and 99% within the same/similar niche.

Once dp was a cool and healthy board ,now most people who come just for the sake of back links , so they post stupid copy of posts to increase post counts like done in this thread

For newly created web site, unique content is more important than backlinks for google.
