Hi all gurus, I'm completely new here, please excuse any wrong categoy posting. My website had its pages indexed before. Then recently, after the following changes, I only see one page indexed on Google (my sitemap, which is in xml format), despite a decent/moderate amount of content. Before the below stated recent changes, I did have my pages indexed in Google just fine (ie after I made my site into a wordpress site, I still got indexed)..but now, just the one and also inside WMT, it says zero pages indexed. Recent changes - new site changed to wordpress, 301 redirects all in place - enabled ssl on whole site (as I was told that was the only option) - changed preferred domain to www. version and put both non www and www versions in webmaster tools (confirming them both) - submitted my sitemap (at least twice) in WMT - increased my crawl rate to to very fast (almost to the max fastest option, probably 80 %) Experts, I know you can help! What can I do? You guys rock!
Google will take time to update your existing website. As you said you have movied to wordpress. So the URL structure will be different from the previous. And it ill be completely new version to the google. It will be crawling your site and will take some time to show in the search results/in the indexed status.
@smileverse Thanks for your reply, I appreciate it.It's weird because I had converted it to wordpress in september/october! then it had some pages indexed..after the SSL change, now only one page indexed (my xml sitemap).
