    Hello,

OK, so i recently started this new website, my first one, I am no "Web developer" or anything like it and haven't used Google adsense in my life, i do know how it works though. So i started putting ad's on my website and have been playing around with the colours, sizes and placement of the ads but no success. The website is getting around 200-500 visitors a day (200 is good and 500 amazing! :p) *Keep in mind, its my first website and am not sure what a normal amount of visitors would be* So i was wondering, what could i do to improve the amount of "Clicks" on a Google ad? What is your opinion on the positioning of the ads? Any help is welcome!

    My website: www.noshitshurlock.com
    Category: Gaming news/video games

Also, any feed back on the website is appreciated.

If Its your first website thenk Unique Vistors=500 is Ok. You may place Ads in Header and Sidebars and in between your contents.

    Thanks for you advice.

But i think that the look of a website is very important, i don't want to ruin the website by putting huge flashing ads in middle of the text. What do you recommend using/doing to still keep a beatifull website but at the same time have the best position for Ads? i currently have them in the sidebar, top of a post and bottom of a post.

You said you recently just started the site. Roman wasn't built in a day. These things take time. Just focus on good content, SEO, social networking... keep plugging away at it and you will see results. It just takes time.

    Thanks for the advice!

I have been getting a lot of traffic from social networks lately, over 120 followers and 250 likes on facebook. It does take a lot of time!
