    hi,
    This may be my misunderstanding,
Randomly I did a google search for "make money online "
Now see the title of sites with their ranking
1st position- Make Money Online (moneymakerinfo.blogspot.com)
2nd- 101 Ways To Make Money – Learn How To Make Money Online (101waystomakemoney.com)
3rd- Make Money Online (Without Spending a Dime)- entrepreneurs.about.com/od/.../a/makemoneyonline.htm)

and so on ( do it at your end and see the result)

    Now my question is-
Do keeping only keyword in title help in SERP ( due to very high keyword dedsity in title) ?
I know this is not the only criteria, but does it matters?

The only thing I can say is that it makes ranking for the keywords a hell of a lot easier!

I would think that the cost (basically hamstringing your site for other keywords/phrases that you might want) would definitely offset the benefits.

you have to do your homework on that ONE keyword and make sure it is very relevant to your content. Check out seobook.com and go to tools to do some keywords ranking searches. See what keywords best fit your site.

It helps but it is not necessary. I know of a lot of people that appear on the first page of all three SE for their main keywords, yet the keywords are not in the URL. You also should know that you should never use more than one keyword in the URL, it might be seen as spam by some SE.

Keyword in both domain name and title is play important in SERP. Of course, other than domain name and title, keyword in content also one of the major factor

    Yeah,

Only keywords may also help you ranking because Title is one of the way in meta data to inform crawler about the theme of website. But if you follow all the standard of SEO. then you will get strong boost in keyword position.

The title tag is an important factor in telling Google what your site is about. So you definitely want to use some keywords in there. Just don't overstuff!

Hey! how you guys think about this direction: I do not put any keyword in title and H1, metatag. But I build up alot of quality backlinks with my main keyword in my anchors, can I get No1 Ranking for my keyword?

Title is rather important, I would say it's probably the most important factor anchor text in links. I will give you an example.. 'search engine' search for that keyword, you will see that 'Google' with PR10 doesn't rank on first page. Their 'custom search engine' page comes 5th. :)

You can make it on top by but it would not be easy for you to reach top 1. Putting keyword on the title can give you an advantage. But even if you put the keyword on the title and didn't build backlinks it will be useless.

Keyword in title is of great importance. You must place your top keyword(s) in your title. Only keywords in title can't insure good site ranking, but it is one of many factors. Obviously it is of great importance.

It is not the only criteria but it does matter a lot. To maintain SERP, one needs to use backlinks, quality of content and frequent change in content. That helps a lot.

Google crawl that page that have frequent change in content and that should be unique.

    Thanks
