    Do you also maintain a normal sitemap? (Since google news sitemap is only good for max 2 days each time generated, i.e. the newer news the better. But I don't know if Google necessarily will index all news items. I think it depends on website and if content is unique. But I don't know for sure, doubt anyone does :) )

    Other than that, I think normal link building, indexing as time passes etc.
