This just doesn't seem right. Here are the search traffic numbers for the various engines.. google 880 msn 10 ask 6 yahoo 2 netscape 2 aol 1 search 1 Seems a bit lopsided to me. Anyone have a clue to what's going on here? This is for the blog link in my sig, from May until now.
Same thing happens to me, almost all of my incoming search engine links are from Google, which is strange because I'm ranked really low on google and really high on yahoo and msn.
I guiess it just shows how much people love Google. It depends on the crowd you're attracting..pro webmasters are more likely to use google and so on... Although the numbers do seem a little odd however....what's your serps in yahoo and MSN? They do bring in too little traffic compared to google but that number sounds a little too unusual. (depending on the niche). Check your SERPs in the other search engines.
If you write naturally and structure your text naturally, it will rank better with google than with other engines
msn (live) doesn't pass referal at the moment. If you could say more about the site and its backlinks perhaps we could make some guess why your stats are like that, otherwise I think it is almost impossible...
I see the same thing on my sites. I have better rankings in Yahoo for my targeted terms but get far more long tail traffic from Google.
My site is strange. I get around the same amount (a few thousand) referrals from Google *and* Yahoo. It also fluctuates.
I'm getting both Yahoo and Google love of equal measures. But for me MSN is almost non-existant the last couple of months.
