Only Getting Partial Updates :-0

Hi Folks;

I've been using the KeyWord Tracker for a couple of years now and it's been a really valuable resource - thank you for making it and sharing it!

Anyway, I have noticed an issue over the last while. I have about 150 keywords/phrases that I track with Google, MSN & Yahoo. I have the script installed on my server and everything works without error but.....

When I click on Check All it usually checks them all and updates the ranking. What's happening though is that Check All is not actually checking them all - it's checking a varying amount of them.

For instance, I just hit Check All and after waiting for the tool to complete checking the Last Check column shows that only about 1/3rd of the list has been checked today with about 2/3 of the list showing yesterday's date.

If I manually check a keyword with an older date it updates fine - the issue just seems to happen when the Check ALL link is clicked - not all of them get checked and the script seems to complete normally with no errors given.

Any ideas?

No, I'm not running out of API queries although if I tell it Check ALL several times it will eventually report that. I think I'm allowed 1,000 queries per day and I believe I'm tracking about 150 key phrases so it takes a few runs to reach 1,000 on the API

If I manually check the phrases that were not updated it works fine and updates the ranking as well as the Last Checked column.

So it seems that everything is working properly except when I do the automated Check All it only checks a varying amount.

Here's an update - I re-ran the Check All link with the data sorted by the Last Checked column and found that it then checked all of them and updated them all to today's date - so that seems to be a workaround?

One thing I've noticed each time this happens is that it starts out counting down from about 550 keywords and then slowly makes it way down to around, say, 300 remaining and then all of a sudden it completes with no error message given.

So basically it takes the proper amount of time and then before being completed it just completes all of a sudden leaving a lot of them un-checked and showing stale data from previous dates.

I don't know if that helps but that's exactly how the problem seems to show up

One last observation....

Even after updating all the phrases with the Last Check column showing today's date there are usually about 5-10 keywords that show a ranking of -9998 or so. If I manually check them immediately after the Check All is completed most of them will go right back to rankings of between 1-20 and the odd one will remain at the -9987 level (or so).
