I have a straming movie blog, and I am only getting about 500 UV's a day. I am not making any real money, and I am looking to see what you guys think would be the best way to market my blog?
Go to Sidereel.com, add your movies, and you'll see how your UVs reach to the thousands per day Also list your site at ovguide.com
I wanted to add, I noticed your blog is at blogspot. Bad idea: first, it'll get you banned. Second, in sidereel, many people use blogger to redirect visitors to affiliate links, and the sidereel community sees it as spam, so few people will click your link.
You can't host warez on blogspot, google will ban you and remove your content. You can host the movies on your own server/domain but you could still run into legal trouble.
Domains have nothing to do with legal problems. You can get your own domain and still be fine. Hosting is what's problematic, as there are some hosts that don't allow illegal content. Try googling "Warez host" and you'll find plenty that will allow you to do so.
I JUST SHUT DOWN MY MOVIE SITE< MOVIE STREAMING IS ILLEGAL EVERYWHERE!!!! even if you host it in Sweden they will get you, Google MPAA LINKING TO MOVIES. It is now illegal TO LINK, Yes i said it, LINK to any copyright material PERIOD. Torrent sites that just linked have gotten sued for millions, also other movie sites like yours and my old one have been sued, owner ends up declaring bankruptcy because he just doesn't have millions to pay and site gets shut down. IF you host your site in out of country the MPAA get you prosecuted in the USA but SUED in that country. Check out my new LEGAL movie site at thizzedout.com
No, it is not. And you shouldn't speak if you don't know what you are talking about! Sweden do not, like any other country in europe, have any law restricting the manner of linking. It is correct that you in the US (the country where money controls politics) got such a law. And you mentioned torrent sites. I guess you are thinking about Thepiratebay? Just a hint: Read the indictment. They are prosecuted in Sweden, under Swedish law, but not for allowing people to upload torrents. And it has nothing to do with MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America). You really made laugh. >IF you host your site in out of country the MPAA get you prosecuted in the USA but SUED in that country. So you can prosecute me under USA's laws? This is what I love about Americans. You think you own the whole world. Let me tell you a secret: People who don't live in USA do not have to follow your rules outside the US. >Check out my new LEGAL movie site at thizzedout.com Well, you must be proud. >IT just takes longer to goto trial (years instead of months) but they will and have started to. Ehh. What trials are you talking about? What sites with embed videos is right now in trial (which is hosted outside the US)?
I have a movie blog in blogspot and I wanted to add it on sidereel but you said "Bad idea: first, it'll get you banned. ". I think not all blogger who uses blogspot are also same manner.
Wrong Wrong Wrong. You are distributing copyrighted materials, it doesn't matter if you are the one that uploaded it it's still illegal. If you want to have a streaming movie site at the very least don't host it on blogspot, get your own domain and hosting.
I get 50 UVs a day and hardly any of it converts. so count yourself lucky. I suggest you do some SEO. People find streaming sites by typing in "free movie streaming" so just optimise for keywords like that.
