Only domain in url (no pagename)

    Hi,

If I go to www.google.com the search-form will show with a url-address as:
    http://www.google.com

I press page-properties in my browser but get thet same result - only the domain.

Isn't that a little unusual? How do I find the page-name in such a situation?

    Thanks

(The reason I am asking is that I am parsing urls and I am trying to understand the different situations that can occur.)

    The browser automatically does it.

But there must be a page-name, mustn't it,
    http://www.google.com/
is a domain name, not a page name.
Can someone please tell me the page-name or how I can find it.
