Hi, Every webmaster work in Directory submission. So,my question is Directory submission is enough to improve for our site in all search engine ?
Submission to a handful of quality directories should be only one small step in your link building campaign. Never put all your eggs in one basket.
Web directories will kick start your site with some long tail traffic. If you've got good content you'll attract some links from other webmasters. Then once you see your site rising for a particular key word you can submit your site to web directories using variations of that keyword to boost it even further. Spend a few minutes every day submitting to web directories, blogs, forums, etc. and the rest of your link building time trying to get other webmasters to link to your site. Bottom line, web directories should be a part of your link building and keyword tailoring strategy.
I agree with freelistfool. Also add quality, unique and relevant content to your site. Who will want to link to you if you have nothing of interest for them?
This is a point that many people miss. They spend all their time chasing directories and never do any other link-building/seo. I still believe that directories are an important step, they are just one of many though. Many people forego their on-page optimisation, whilst they are running around trying to get listed in directories. More isn't necessarily better.
Take a diversified approach to promoting and improving your site. Submissions to quality directories are one important part, but there are other important pieces also.
Directory Submission can help to provide backlinks but there are few more things important to improve site Rank like Quality and Valuable Content, Forums, Blogging,Article Writing
For non very competitive niches On page SEO + directory submission could be enough but certainly would not recommend just those two techniques alone
no only directory submission is not enough for ranking factor. also focused on article submission, forum posting, group posting, blog posting and blog commenting etc.
You need a varied profile of links, of which directories should form a part - but not JUST directories.
HI Directory submission alone will not bring you the result you want you need to combined it with other forms of promotion like article submission, forum posts, blog posts, press releases if you can and ppc Tom
