what you can do is proper placement of the ads .. and also use only chitika and adsense .. Adsense will make you earn more .. Proper placement of adsense ads has proved to double revenue .. Place them in a place your visitors are bound to see them .

btw you have a very nice site , from what keyword your visitors are coming from ?

At this point you have far more ads than I have ever tried to put on a single page and my gut tells me they are likely not too effective.

Are the non-google banners PPC or CPM based? If they are PPC based, then I would experiment with just removing them.. each individually and also ALL of them. If removal of any one of them didn't have more than a 2-3% impact on revenue, I'd probably leave it off in favor of not making the site so ad-centric. If removing all 3 didn't have more than 10%-15% I'd just leave them off (doesn't mean it's "correct" or that you should).

Also, in the thread view I've never put in the adsense as a user post as you have. Was that a hack you did or did you find it? We put the adsense directly inside the post after the atual post content. Every once in a while we might have someone comment on it, but rarely. I doubt that makes to much difference, but possibly yours is getting more user feedback because they were confused as to whether or not it was a real user.

I noticed that you now have this above the ads in the forum: "Support PSP 3D! Check out our sponsors below!" and "Relevant ads"

I don't think that complies with the TOS which says: "Publishers may not label the ads with text other than "sponsored links" or "advertisements." This includes any text directly above our ads that could be confused with, or attempt to be associated with Google ads."

Keep your account safe, dude :)

Even after all the Adsense optimizing, I am pushing 7 cents a click and a crappy $25 a day. Absolutely terrible, I'm switching them all to Shopping.com ads until I get into YPN.

Get some CPM ads or affiliate links to compliment your adsense.

This guy is a fraud. The hack he used comes from vBulletin.org, and all of his adsense "optimization" are simply breaches of google's TOS between putting link units in the menu and putting a header in telling the users to click the ads :(

You have to be fucking kidding me...

    Take that off man...

You'll get banned *so quickly* for that kind of stuff.

Tom_e_rock, you clearly know jack all about Adsense. I suggest you stop offering 'help'.

    Hey sorry for offering help.
Basically I did suggestions to him, and we both agree'd they be cool. That message hack was myne (not on anymore). No one wants to click adds on a forum its hard.

But on my own sites i got large CTR, so I'm not a fraud.

    I'm not sure you understand...

The suggestions you gave him were ILLEGAL. You cant ask his members to click his ads. You're going to get him banned.

Looking at the front page only, I've got to tell you frankly that template does not work well at 3 columns.

You've got too many ads and because of the three columns, the page is too wide to even see everything at 1024x786! Believe me, you should be supporting down to 600x800.

Look how unprofessional the top looks. The topmost ad looks unprofessional that far over. It should be centered between the right side and the logo. The next ad down is very poorly blended, it goes over some background detail. The list just goes on and on.

I suggest stripping everything out, get it looking stock again and add back about 1/3 of the ads, making sure to put them in subtly and attractively.

That's just the index. I haven't looked inside the forums.

Good luck, and I hope Tom E Rocks didn't get you banned!

Maybe some of them were illegal, but I talked to the owner while doing them and said yah they might be illegal.. He said okay, as adsense was paying him .07 cents a click which wasn't so great. Calm down guys..

I would say rotate placement, colors, ads (google, yahoo, etc). It seems whenever I do a rotation the click percentage goes up. I only rotate about twice per month. Just my 2 cents.

Use google analytics and especially the content drilldown for statistics... this will help you a lot to figure out where exactly to place your ads and how people are finding those sites.
