I read a few times on this forum people saying that forums initially receive a good number of clicks, but then as the members get used to the forum the clicks go down. So, it is recommended for a forum to periodically change the look and the position of the ads.
Forum CTR is low and your niche is low pay niche. Try play around with your ads placement or get more traffic

Na it is def low, but like everyone said forums tend to be low like that. Tbh the $5 your making probably comes from the views alone anyways not clicks. I made 1 cent from 300 views on a site and found out its because google does pay a very low amount per 1000 views or whatever. So I would say your problem is ad placement and maybe not enough ads. ps: I am amazed at how your site has grown like 20k views per day .... its amazing
nevermind I now see how your getting such mad amounts of people. $100 prize for the winner of a vid competition. very nice idea, once my site gets going a bit more I might follow you on an idea like that. I mean hell if you can figure out your ad placement and stuff I think you can make atleast $25 a day from your site man, good luck.
