At my website, pcfastlane.com, I really haven't grown much on the search engines. I started my website in March, but out of the 131 visitors I got yesterday, only 17 came from search engines! 12 of the 17 came from Google. In the last month, I have submitted my website to numerous directories and recently have started posting articles on over 200 free article websites. I've also been on the frontpage of Digg and Shoutwire. I would guess I have between 150 and 250 back links from various websites, most of them being tech news websites. Is this normal? What should I do to boost the traffic I get from search engines?
I have found very similar results to you... I receive lots of visitors from sites such as digg, reddit and other bookmark services as well as direct visits, but little, maybe 50 visits, from search engines. While still low, I did notice that things such as using googles sitemap service did help my site get crawled more often and helped refer more visitors. I too would like to know if this is common for early stage sites...
If your site is only 3 months old, you arent going to get much traffic from the search engines yet. Especially not from Google. It sounds like you are on the right path promoting your site. Continue what you are doing and your traffic from the engines should increase with time.
well I think 15 visitors/day for a 3 month old website isn't bad at all. If you don't spam (black hat), don't expect something phenomenal! P.S. check the popularity of your keywords
It typically takes up to six months for any of my sites to see decent SE traffic. Be patient and keep doing what you're doing. You're on the right track.
Well... 17 visits from search engines each day are quite a lot! coz they are relevant visits... not blind visits!
Listen to jawinn, because he's right. Just be patient and add content and just wait another 3 months. Don't forget; you're competing with hundreds of millions of other sites out there ... and climbing.
I get about that as well...Search Engines are not going to get you a huge amount of traffic at once, it is a slow and steady amount.

Do regualr posting on your site n u need to optimize your website that's the reason why ur not getting much traffic form search engine
you should be targeting to your organic traffic that, focus on your keywords and then wait for the result.
