Hey, just wanted to get some advice on my blog (done through blogger). affording-college.blogspot.com Think the placement/coloring/type of the ads could be better? should the area where there is text, etc. be wider? I feel that it might be too skinny/cramped and make visitors leave faster Should I have more images, etc. in my blog in order to enhance the visual appeal? I have only had one unique visitor so far, but I'm guessing that's because I only started this blog 3 days ago. Thanks, Site Man
The one above the posts is fine. The colors work. You could ad one in the sidebar or between posts. I'd use less text and add images in the header.
Thanks, I'll give that a try. I'm going to be doing a lot of experimenting with my ads since my blog is so new. And I would definitely like more images. I'm just having a hard time finding good ones because I want to be careful about copyright violations, but also don't feel like paying royalty fees to use images. You know of any great websites for free images you can use?
Yeah, you will need at least 300-500 visitors/day to really make money. At this point, you will really need to build content first, at least 3-5 blog posts per day, my advice.
dang 3-5 posts a day is a LOT! im just trying to keep up with 1 a day im starting to get a bit more as far as visitors though as i am posting links to my site in forums, etc.
yeah im submitting articles, i need to submit more though and no i dont think im the only unique...i have a thing on my blog that tracks where people are coming from, im not the only one
No, I am sure that someone else or a bot might have visited your site. But you will seriously need to spend time in growing your blog. An entry a day is not sufficient though. It will take a long time before you will start generating serious income.
Hit the articles- but do a LOT! Talking as many as you can and as fast as you can- Mainly focus on using ezinearticles.com and they have the best traffic. Hope that helps
1 unique visitor! w00t! Visual appeal is good. Green is supposed to engender trust. You might try a few pictures or at least big bolded text for things like the "Plus Loan" so they catch the eye.
