Only 1 adgroup out of Hundreds is Getting Impressions?

Has anyone seen this before? Each keyword has it's own adgroup and there are over 700 keywords/adgroups. Only one is getting any impressions. The keyword isn't particularly impressive either, it's not like a main keyword, just some random, tertiary keyword. Why is only the one getting impressions? Note: My pre-paid balance is getting low, might that have an effect?

    Sure could.

I don't go that far and have one keyword per group. But as a guess, the vast majority of your keywords probably won't get many impressions to start with. Also, maybe they are all still under review.

Did you maybe not bid high enough on the rest of them?

I really don't think the bids are the problem, I'm thinking it's my balance running too low.

Maybe you really did not bid high enough? That could cause your balance to potentially run low.

obviously by now you must have added more money to your account to see if that's really the issue :)

first off, as Lucid said - one keyword per ad group is taking relevancy too far. You really don't need to do this, and hopefully, if I say it enough times on this forum, people will stop listening to the odd post that you need to do this!

Maybe a low budget, maybe low search numbers for your keywords, maybe a low bid combined with low QS meaning your ads aren't getting to the first page (which combined with low search volumes definitely means no impressions)

It doesn't take any extra effort when you have the software to do it, so as long as it can only help...

True. But if you have hundreds of groups, managing all this can be a nightmare. Plus what to you do with a keyword that gets just a few impressions per month for example. That's not enough info to make a clear decision on which ad is the best performer. If you have hundreds of groups, you may not even notice under performing keywords. Too many trees.
